Levin's path ran from the MPAA mailroom and a studio-executive chapter (overseeing film franchises), into edtech as Co-Founder & COO of MYX — a 'WeWork-y' in-person campus startup for online learners — before founding Reddy. He has described the inspiration as watching manual onboarding 'in the back of a call center classroom.'

Levin and Dube met on Twitter in early 2023 as ChatGPT arrived. The name 'Reddy' (R-E-D-D-Y) was chosen because it sounded like 'we help people get ready.'
